MWWA is proud to announce its participation in yet another beneficial community event, the Clean Up Australia Day.  This year the event focused on cleaning the local site at the Lighthouse Park in Liverpool.  Members of MWWA enjoyed the activity immensely.  To make the event more enjoyable, we held a fun competition for the most rubbish collector of the day. 

Through this activity, we met new people and made new friends in the local community with a special mention of the Organizers of Clean Up Australia Day and in particular Jim Callochou who expressed his appreciation for the big turn up of members of MWWA at the site.  At the end of the day, we enjoyed the refreshments provided to us by the Organizers.

Over all MWWA members played a major role in the outcome of the event and made their mark as willing active members in the community. We look forward for the next local community event  Insha' Allah.
