Keeping Youth Drug Free; Drug awareness lunch

The Muslim Women’s Welfare of Australia will be hosting a drug awareness lunch that aims to help parents and guardians gain a better understanding of how to prevent and deal with drug use by young people. The lunch will particularly seek to educate parents/guardians from culturally and linguistically diverse communities about the facts relating to drug use in New South Wales, methods of treatment and more importantly, how drug use can be prevented in the first place. The focus will also extend to emphasising the importance of developing a healthy relationship between parent and child that encourages open communication. The event will feature a number of community and government experts in the field who will speak about this topic.

حماية الشباب من المخدرات

برعاية بلدية ليفربول،  تقيم جمعية رعاية المرأة المسلمة في أستراليا ندوة  للتوعية حول المخدرات ، تهدِف الى تثقيفِ الآباء واولياء الأمور من المجتمعاتِ المتعددة ِاللغاتِ والثقافات حول مشكلةِ المخدرات ومساعدتِهم في كيفيةِ التعامل مع الشباب الذين يتعاطَوْنَ  المخدِرات في نيو ساوث ويلز، وأساليب العلاج والأهم من ذلك كيف يُمكن الوقاية منها. وسيَنْصَبُّ التركيزُ أيضا على أهمية إقامة علاقة سليمةٍ تُشجعُ على التواصل المنفتح بين الوالدين والأطفال. وسيشارك في هذه الندوة  عددٌ  من الخبراء في هذا المجال الذين سيقومون ايضا بالإجابة على اسئلة الأهالي والحضور.

ستقام الندوة يوم الخميس في الخامس والعشرين من شهر كانون الثاني ، يناير بداء من الساعة العاشرة صباحا  وستختتم بتقديم وجبة غداء مع مُرطِبات.
