The Muslim women’s welfare of Australia, MWWA, hosted a Hepatitis B education session

On Wednesday 26 June 2019, the Muslim women’s welfare of Australia, MWWA, hosted a Hepatitis B education session in partnership with the Multicultural HIV and Hepatitis Service. The guest speaker, Ms Faten Solaqa explained to the audience what Hepatitis B is, symptoms and tests available. She also discussed treatment and ways of prevention. The session was informative as well as engaging. In the end, MWWA president, Mrs Faten El Dana OAM thanked the ladies and gentlemen who attended and participated in the question and answers session. She also thanked Ms Solaqa for her efforts in raising awareness about this serious health problem.
