Iftar at the Parliament House

MWWA president Mrs Faten El Dana OAM was delighted to accept the invitation of NSW Premier the Hon. Gladys Berejiklian for the Iftar held on Wednesday 22nd of May.

Hosted at the parliament house, the Iftar was attended by the Minister for Multiculturalism John Sidoti along with a number of politicians, diplomats, imams and community leaders. In her speech, the Premier said that NSW is a cohesive and resilient society and the sacred month of Ramadan presents an opportunity to strengthen these bonds.
